About Théo Farias
Background
My name is Théo Farias Silva, and I've been tattooing for 6 years. From the very start, my goal was always to tattoo lettering. I got into tattooing in an unexpected way, but the interest had been there since I was a teenager.
Surrounded by paintings at home, I grew up breathing art, influenced by Roberta Lira Farias Silva, my mother and a visual artist.
At 14 or 15, I loved drawing letters on my schoolmates' skin, with no structure and no training, just a love for body art. That phase mattered a lot in my journey, because it's where the desire to tattoo was born. But I was still very young and had no financial footing, so I followed the traditional path in life.
Ten years later, tattooing called me back. With a little encouragement, at the right but unlikely moment (in the middle of the pandemic), I dove headfirst into the profession that changed my life.
Today, you'll meet a completely different Théo: I'm the product of knowledge and a hunger to win.
I work in custom lettering and black and grey, two different worlds that connect through their authenticity. Working freehand lets me build compositions with real visual impact, ones that make the most of every detail of your body. That's how I give you a project that's unique and made entirely around you.

The Process

First Chat
We start with a conversation, so I can get to know you and fully understand your idea, the placement and what makes the most sense for what you're looking for. From there, I move on to creating.

Design
All lettering is done freehand, built on the spot from a brief sketch that serves as my guide, which keeps the freehand work focused. For realism projects, I create the full design in advance. Either way, I present the sketch or design the day before or on the day of the session, and any adjustments are made right there.

Execution
Tattoo session in a carefully maintained environment, with fully sterilized equipment and attention to detail. I never rush: I take as much time as it needs to reach the best result, with breaks to drink water, eat or simply rest whenever you need.

Aftercare
Complete aftercare guidance to ensure the best healing and final result.
Sall Porto
A private studio in the heart of Porto, designed so every session unfolds calmly, comfortably and without distraction. A quiet, welcoming space where you can feel at ease from the first line to the final touch.
As a private space, it works by appointment only, with time set aside for each person. Every station is set up from scratch for your session, with disposable, sterilised equipment and all the hygiene care a tattoo calls for.
